According to a recent article by Lattaquant.com, Estelle Johnson has accepted a marriage proposal from Jonathan Mason, her longtime companion from the USA.
“I can’t lose when I’m with you, and I’m also ready to spend the rest of our lives proving that to each other. Goodbye my baby Zaddy and hello my fiancé,” she declared in a touching declaration of love.

The sun may be shining again in the life of this native of Maroua, in the far north region of Cameroon, but the former defender of the women’s national team has had a tough time recently. After the Lionesses were eliminated in the play-offs for the 2023 World Cup, rumors of her dismissal by Jean Baptiste Bisseck fueled controversy. Estelle then decided to take a break from her international career. According to Lattaquant.com’s reliable sources and those close to her, one of the reasons was her discomfort with the national team since her missed penalty: “She’s no longer happy there (with the national team), and it would take her some time to get over it”. So it was a difficult time for her, but then she met Jonathan Mason, discreet and caring, and together they are expecting a happy event. The player, who retired from international football last year following her pregnancy, is expecting a boy, as revealed during her ultrasound scan.
Accompanied by her partner, she expressed her excitement at the prospect of welcoming the baby boy in June.
