Indeed, these three goals will go down in the annals of history, enabling his team to win the trophy in Dublin on Wednesday.

His hat-trick helped Atalanta Bergamo to a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen and the C3 title. The three goals scored by the former Leicester player established several records. Before his hat-trick, the Super Eagle became the fastest player to score a brace in the Europa League final, just 26 minutes into the match.

But that’s not all. Lookman is the first player in history to score a hat-trick in the Europa League final. He is also the first African player to score a hat-trick in a European Cup final (C1, C2, C3). At the peak of his career, the 26-year-old winger is attracting attention from Premier League clubs. He could make a return to England this summer.
