The Cameroon Cup Round of 32 continues. Elite clubs are increasingly biting the dust against amateur clubs. The situation has not changed so far.

In fact, after the surprise elimination of Coton sport de Garoua by Epervier d’Ebolowa, other giants have fallen by the wayside. Bamenda’s Public Work Department (PWD) fell at Melong municipal stadium. The Abakwa boys were eliminated by As Dibamba. They opened the scoring at 58′ thanks to Abanke Eric.

After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, the Littoral torchbearers prevailed in the final penalty shoot-out (10-9). The winner of the 2022 edition leaves the competition by the narrowest of margins. Last year, Pascal Abunde’s club, PWD, were runners-up to Fovu de Baham. At the same venue, Dragon Club de Yaounde came up short against Rizière Fc. The club from the Western Regional League beat Tcha Tcha Tcha Boys by a score of 4-1.

On the list of clubs already qualified for the Round of 16, As Dibamba and Rizière take the number of amateur clubs to 10. lattaquant.com will update as we get further results.
